The Cholo Tree: This engrossing coming-of-age novel for teens follows a young Chicano artist who wants only to develop his craft and study in Paris, but who must deal with the daily struggles of family, community, and their expectations for him.

Kafka in a Skirt: This is not your ordinary short story collection.
