Why zines? Zines are typically DIY books that are shared, traded, spread, and collected. Zine culture has been around for years, with a role in subversion, activism, radical self expression, book arts, political activism, and so much more. In this panel for the Easton Book Festival, local zine collector/maker/enthusiast Lynn Alexander will host guest panelists who will talk about zine culture, their own zines, collections, favorites, and more.
Panelists will include Maryann Riker, Erica Hutchins, and Tohm Bakelas.
