Join GLVWG authors Judy England-McCarthy and Janice Rodgers for an online discussion of writing books.
Letters To My Sister, my first published book, is a collection of short stories, a memoir of my family growing up in Allentown, Pennsylvania, during the post-war years. It is a portrait of the people I knew, the places we went, and the events that shaped the person I am today.
With four children in our household, things were anything but dull, which became the source of my inspiration for my stories.
Over the years, I have worked in a public library, a school library, and a newspaper library, so books have always been an integral part of my life as the shelves of books in my office will attest to.
I have always enjoyed reading and in particular storytelling. I do enjoy writing for children and am working on several children’s mystery books.
I just finished the holiday edition of Letters which has even more funny stories of Christmases with the Monahans on Chew Street and Beyond. Christmas Is A ‘Coming is now available on Amazon.com in e-book and paperback. Start a new Christmas tradition with your family by adding these stories to your Christmas collection!
