Prince Garrett Storyhour with author Jannie Pilgram

Bring your kids to Bank Street Creamery for a very special story hour, hosted by the Prince Garrett stories author, Jannie Pilgrim.

Prince Garrett lives in Garrett Land and loves playing with his dog Zeus (nicknamed Zuzu). The Prince Garrett stories began when the author, Jannie Pilgrim, would take Garrett for walks and tell him adventures about Garrett and Zeus. Garrett loved these stories so much that he wanted to hear them often and before bedtime. Jannie wanted to capture these stories and decided to write them into books – and thus, Prince Garrett was born.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jannie Pilgrim never dreamt that her life experiences, which include career coaching, working as an HR business partner, recruiter,  inclusion solution consultant, and trainer, would lead her to write a children’s book. Her biggest inspiration for this possibility is Garrett. She wants children all over the world to learn, have fun, and understand the potential of their possibilities.

Jannie holds a Master of Science in Human Resources degree and a postgraduate degree in Training and Development from the Milano Graduate School of The New School University. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
