Poetry & Puppetry Workshop with Magnus Matteo

In this Poetry & Puppetry writing workshop, participants are encouraged to choose a puppet from the Book & Puppet displays that speak to them, and to write a poem from the perspective of the chosen puppet. This event is open to all ages and all writing abilities.

Workshop facilitator Magnus Mateo is a Lehigh Valley poet, performer, and event organizer. She has several pieces published in various literary magazines and anthologies, as well as her debut chapbook, She’s Jealous of my Purple Sky. When they’re not writing or signing up for every open mic, they organize and host Noble Quills in Easton, PA and IceHouse Literary Arts Committee in Bethlehem, PA.
