If you wonder what it’s like to turn an important part of your life into a readable story, join these four authors to learn what that process was like for them.
Jerry Waxler: His memoir about growing up in the sixties spurred his passion for the genre. He writes and teaches about the healing power of memoir writing, and the way of remembering our earlier lives can help us find wisdom in the present.
Andy Laties: His three memoirs recount growing up in the sixties, becoming an independent bookstore owner, and a tribute to his son. Andy is the owner of the Book and Puppet Company in Easton and the organizer of this book festival.
Sandy Hanna: Her memoir is about growing up as an army BRAT stationed in Saigon, Vietnam just before all hell broke loose. She was on the original design team at Sesame Place, bringing life-size puppets to children.
Pamela Jane: Her memoir turns the chaos of going crazy in the sixties into a great story. As the author of 30 books for children, she has spent her whole adult life entertaining and inspiring people who are preparing for the long journey ahead
