Donald L. Miller is the John Henry MacCracken Professor of History Emeritus at Lafayette College and author of ten books, including Vicksburg, and Masters of the Air, currently being made into a television series by Tom Hanks. He has hosted, co-produced, or served as a historical consultant for more than thirty television documentaries and has written for The New York TimesThe Washington Post, and other publications.

David P. Coley has been an author/writer since 1980, specializing in books and articles on military history, particularly recent military history. He was a journalist with stints at various papers including the Baltimore Evening Sun. His books include “Blood for Dignity”, reviewed in the New York Sunday Times Book Review, and in The Washington Post. He wrote the first major history of Prospect Park, Brooklyn; and Olmsted Park, with his wife, Elizabeth Keegin Colley (photographer). He has written hundreds of articles for national magazines and newspapers including American HeritagePopular Mechanics, and several for The New York Times, including an OP-Ed piece about how WWII Wasn’t Won.
