Bio

Jessica is a children’s author whose publications include: the picture book biography Gloria Takes a Stand, and the forthcoming biography Send a Girl: The Brenda Berkman Story, from Bloomsbury. Her middle grade novels The Dare Sisters, books 1 and 2, are due out Fall 2020 and 2021 from Imprint/Macmillan. Jessica also has a chapter book series called Out of Time, with the first book due out Oct 2019 through Epic! In addition to writing she also teaches in the MFA program at Sierra Nevada College. She’s lived in or near the Lehigh Valley her entire life and is currently working on a collection of essays about place and memory.
