She co-hosts Tuesday Muse, a monthly poetry and music series in Bethlehem and is the organizer and founder of Lehigh Valley Poetry, a cooperative resource for local events and poetry projects. She is currently working on literary and visual art for the annual “Perspectives: Art on Environment” project, at the Nurture Nature Center. The forthcoming poetry collection, “Parakeets and Baby Teeth”, was inspired by the five years of creative partnership exploring environmental themes through art made possible by this important local program.

About "The Shouldspeak Disease"

“The Shouldspeak Disease” explores the language of shame and internalized toxicity from societal “shoulds”. Shame is a tool that reduces. “The mind becomes a forgotten wire, naked in the ceiling. A dead filament. It was born into a bulb, to hum. Filament, whose time inside the glass has passed.”
