About "How To Make Books"

“How to Make Books” by Esther K Smith is based on her long running class at Cooper Union in New York City–each chapter is a class session, introducing a book structure and its variations.
Gorgeously photographed and illustrated, Smith designed the book with Dikko Faust’s hand typography display type.
This book is now a classic in the field and has sold more than 50.000 copies.
