Bio

Charles W. Dickerson was born in Omaha, NE , and received his early and secondary education in the Omaha Public Schools. He graduated from Penn State University and pursued his Doctorate at the University of Wisconsin. He worked for 30 plus years as an A.T.&T management employee in Operations, Engineering, and Marketing. He was an Adjunct Professor at the County College of Morris and Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey for 15 years teaching 20th Century American History and the History of the African American Experience.

The book is a comprehensive evolution of the Bush – Dickerson family from the invasion of the Normans from France into England 1099, the voyage to America in the 1600s, slavery to the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863, and the 20th century beginnings until near century end. The book details the lives, childhood, education, marriage, next generation of children. There are pictures, wills, diplomas, and family observations.
